Blah, blah, blog

What has been going on in our lives? Where to begin...

This past month I had my wisdom teeth out. It really wasn't bad and cost less than I thought it was going to, which was a huge releif. When I had almost recovered from having my teeth out, my neck went out and I couldn't turn my head. A couple of visits to the chiropractor and a couple of weeks later and I am almost as good as new. Almost.

We spent labour day in Texas with Dave's family. That was a lot of fun. We got to spend some quality time with family and took Caroline to the Science Place and the Natural History Museum in Dallas. We have pictures, but we haven't uploaded them yet. Sorry.

We've been home now for a little over a week and things are getting back to normal. I am feeling my old self again, Dave is doing well and Caroline...well, caroline is a bit under the weather. Hopefully it's nothing that a little Kaopectate and a good night's sleep won't fix, but we'll see. We might have to make a trip to the Dr. tomorrow if she isn't feeling much better.

And that is it. Well, almost it. I forgot to mention that the plumbing is on the fritz again. Blah. But that is also something we'll just have to wait and see about. But anyway, this is what is happening with us. We'll update again soon, I promise.

I for one am so thankful that you read blogs. B/c I write in mine wondering if anyone reads it. And I'm glad you post, to even if it is more rarely than the average blogger. But I have more time than the average blogger, so I post more. But not for long! Yay! The days of sitting on my tootsie all day long are almost gone! Hurray!
PS, I think Matt probably feels about blogs the way Dave does.

Tell Dave that he's a punk! ;o)

By the way, you spelled labor as 'labour'. Is that a remnant from Canada??

LEAH! I am bad. I haven't come. I want to. But I also want to be a good teacher. I want to grade my students tests so they can know how they are doing. I want to create awesome lesson plans so that they want to come to class. I want to make my material interesting so that they want to read books. I also want to visit you and have a long long talk and catch up. When will there be 8 days in the week? I just need an extra day....

I miss you!

i need your email address! that package would be good but it's way more diapers than you need unless you are buying for your next kid too. For Caroline you'd need premium sized prefolds which would increase the price as well. But it's nice that you can pick the different covers. I found this one:

the economy pack...but it just come with prowraps which I think are ok (never used them but here's some reviews http://www.diaperpin.com/diapers/itemdetail.asp?id=44) but no night time cover. But I have a girly fleece cover that I could sell you for cheapo if you wanted. it's coral and has always looked a little girly on Frank.

oh and the prefolds don't have snaps, just the covers sometimes. Some people do rig up their prefolds to close with velcro but I think that's rare.

i should be calculating costs but i'm just going by what I would pay. you really don't save that much with these packages although i always want to assume that you do. but a few dollars here and there is nice.
