Baby Oliver

Our little boy, David "Oliver" Ellcey was born on September 6, 2007 at
8:55 pm. He weighed 9 lbs. 10 oz. (just like his sister!) and he was 20
in. long. It is so terrible that it has taken me so long to post this,
but during these last sleepy 1 1/2 weeks postpartum, I just haven't
been up to battling our stupid dial-upInternet service. Plus, I posted it on Facebook and nearly everyone I know is on facebook
, so I haven't bothered to post here. But it is time to post some
pictures. Since it takes forever to load, I'll probably just upload one
today, but hopefully I'll post some more tomorrow. So without further adieu, here's Oliver! Isn't he precious?

This is Oliver, the day we brought him home from the hospital.

And just because I can't resist, here he is the day after he was born. I truly believe that chubby babies are the cutest.

And finally, the whole happy family.

Dave, Leah & Caroline,
Oliver is soooo cute!!! I'm so happy for you all. I want to come over and see you before we go out of town next weekend. It's just been a hard recovery (as you can attest to having a baby!!). I'm going to call you soon and set up a night to come! Take care until then.
We Love You,
Galen, Lori & Caroline

Awwwww, you're right Leah! That hospital pic didn't do him justice!!! He's adorable!!!

Hopefully I'll get to see him soon. Although, it looks like I'll be heading up to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving, so will you guys be around for Christmas?

Love you all,

~Erin

Hey I just wanted to say that you have one of the cutest families ever!
I just saw some of the pics your mom put up and they are soooooooooooo sweet! I like the one with you and Oliver and Caroline as well as the one of Caroline kissing her new little bro!

Hey Leah - Yeah, I totally remember you guys! So Right Start is changing a bit right now but I think for the better. What I am wanting to do is match each Right Start girl up with a mentor who will meet with her once a week for 1-3 hours. Mentors will do things like have the young woman over for dinner, take her shopping with you and let her see how you buy groceries, go through homework together, or just talk about life. I will be providing training (probably about 6 hours) and then regular contact with the mentor to help in any way that I can. I think you would make a great mentor if that is something you're interested in doing. If you want to talk more about it, I would love to treat you to lunch or coffee sometime. Feel free to email me at kristen@kristenediger.com any time.
